Michelle Bin is the Innovation Manager at Innovate360, Singapore’s first food incubator with facilities. The incubator helps more than 30 startups in areas of mentorship, funding, expertise, and access to markets. It is an accredited mentor partner supported by the Singapore government and recognized by Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) as a food technology partner in food security.
Michelle has had experience in reformulation and development of new products, Halal implementation and management of plans or programs referenced to Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS). Moreover, Michelle is also managing the ISO22000:2018 and Halal implementation of Cheng Yew Heng Candy Factory.
Michelle also believes that ensuring a sustainable food supply for the fast-growing world population is considered a major challenge. She believes that Research and Development accompanied with food production is one of the main key areas which require action, accompanied with the issues of nutrition, food consumption and food security.
